The Bears - They're Killing Me
Why would the Chicago Bears not pick up a veteran quarterback during the off-season? Rex Grossman has played a total of six games during his two-year career. He got hurt last year and the abominable Chad Hutchinson took over and the offense was atrocious. The Bears offense finished last season dead last in seven statistical categories. There were several QB’s available; Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson and Jay Fiedler were among the best of the crop. But my storied franchise decided that a fragile quarterback, a lanky QB that couldn’t stick his finger through the middle of a donut hole and a rookie would suffice. Thank God I have a satellite dish so I can watch some “real” football.
