Football Talk

It was a good weekend of football. The Bears returned to dominant form - albeit against the hapless 49ers, but a win is a win. Below is my new rankings and some comments.

The Pigskin Challenge is getting really close now. I'll post the ranking after tonight's game. It will be very close from here on out.

    1. What team has surprised you the most thus far?

    - I have to give it to the Saints. I didn't think they would be as good as they are. But they have a habit of nose diving in the second half of the season.

    2. What is the most disappointing team thus far?

The Dolphins by far. They have no offense and are playing like crap.

    3. Rookie of the year candidate?

A.J. Hawk and Mark Anderson are definitely frontrunners for Defense and Reggie Bush and Devin Hester are my picks for the offense. But if Marques
Colston keeps playing like he is... it could be close.

    4. Midseason MVP?

Mike Vick. He is doing the damn thang.

    5. What team is most likely to turn it around in the second half?

I think the Eagles have a good chance of getting things back in order. Look for them to make a run.

    6. Super Bowl picks?

    Bears vs. Broncos.

    Hey Jay

The most disappointing team so far is the Raiders man. Also the football games are more exciting and interesting this than last year. This year you have all kinds of unpredictable things happening teams down by many points and at the last minute come back to win.

Very unpredictable which makes it more interesting the NBA needs some of what life force has entered into the NFL.

    By Chance

    1. Agree
    2. Carolina, all the hype hasn't panned out.
    3. AJ hawk (Good pick) Reggie? It depends on this injury, and what Leinart and young do in the next 8 games.
    4. I'd give that to the Bear "D",
But I'm going with Peyton M.

    5.Carolina better turn it around.

6 Chicago and Indy are a good bet...
But you know it's not going to happen. Wire to wire, one of them is going to choke before the dance....
